Russley Golf Club is proud to be home to one of New Zealand’s premier golf courses. This par 72 championship layout winds through classic parkland and offers plenty to think about, no matter your handicap. A full redesign of the back nine (2012–2014) by Greg Turner opened things up off the tee and added some real interest around the greens.

We welcome both locals and visitors, with five tee options to suit every stage of the golfing journey. Just minutes from Christchurch Airport, it’s an easy stop for a quick round—or a longer stay.

Our PGA professionals offer coaching for all levels, supported by top-class practice facilities designed to help you sharpen every part of your game.

Off the course, you’ll find a driving range, short game areas, locker rooms, and a well-stocked golf shop. The café and bar are always a good place to land post-round, and rental clubs and carts are available if needed.

New faces are always welcome. Ask around and you’ll hear the same thing—friendly people, good chats, and plenty of chances to get involved.

Russley has a strong track record of hosting national events, including the New Zealand Amateur Championships, Legends Pro-Am tournaments, the 2024 Interprovincials, and the 2026 NZ Men’s Seniors. It’s also recognised in the 2024/25 Top 50 New Zealand courses by Australian Golf Digest.
